Love is in the air and Valentine’s Day is just nine days away. I’m not big on Valentine’s gifts, but my husband has learned that I really value a thoughtful, hand-written note. On most occasions, when he goes out of town for work, he’ll often strategically hide a colorful post-it note with a sweet message for me to find later in the day.
In that same vein, I absolutely adore these love notes below, created by Sarah Kim-Puangsuvan of Truly Smitten (Hi, Sarah!). While we may not all be as articulate as Mr. Darcy or Elizabeth Bennet, these messages make it easy to express love on a daily basis.
Similarly, this dry erase print created by Row Boat Press gets right to the heart of things (see what I did there?). I would love to keep this by our front door so I could jot a quick note of gratitude every day. There are several other dry erase fill-in-the-blank prints on the site, so be sure to take a look.
This year, I encourage you to get creative with your Valentine’s Day gifts, and if all else fails, a sincere note works wonders! Better yet, there’s always the custom love story! I’ve been told they’re quite a hit with the ladies (sorry, shameless self-promotion).
