Things have been quiet around here, but I have a good excuse: I graduated. Yes, the announcement says it all!
I am so thrilled to be putting this chapter of life behind me…thrilled and, I’ll say it, damn proud. I was so ready to be done that I actually made this graduation announcement way back in May of 2010. It was fun to return to it every few weeks and change things around, and I’m really happy with the finished product.
Early on, each line of text was a different font, but that got pretty overwhelming, so I ultimately decided on my beloved Strangelove Text that I blogged about several weeks ago. I figured the hand-drawn style of the font would complement my illustration. The finished product is certainly not perfect, but I’m okay with that; each project I undertake is a new opportunity to be challenged and to learn.
